Jewish Youth Connection

Jewish Teens Coming Together for Learning and Playing

It can be a little lonely as a Jewish teen in Maine—so the Center for Small Town Jewish Life is excited to offer the Maine Jewish Youth Connection, bringing together YA Jews from across the state for learning, togetherness, and FUN. We are fully back to in-person programming!  Check here regularly for opportunities to gather virtually, learn, and have fun.

And if you don’t want to miss any news from us, sign up for updates here!

The next two JYC teen events of 2024 are scheduled for March 3 and April 7. Our Shabbaton—to New York City!—is May 16-19, 2024. Teens must attend three of five events to be eligible to go on the Shabbaton. If you have any questions, please be in touch— [email protected].

Paint Your Art Out! Sunday, March 3, 2024, 3-5 p.m.

It’s our fourth program of the year, and we’ll finally let you sit down for one! Please join us for text study and pottery painting on Sunday, March 3, 3-5 p.m., at Moonstone Pottery, 186 Turner Street, Auburn. This is our fourth event of the year, which means for some, this is your chance to qualify to attend our spring Shabbaton!

The event costs $5, but cost should never be a barrier—please email Mel Weiss for any financial assistance: [email protected]
